Max saw this up on my screen and said “that’s cool”… which started a great conversation about how both he and Charlie were bossy when they were younger and how we told them they were *both* bossy and had leadership skills.
Max thought that was great because by telling kids they are BOTH of these things opens a great discussion about the differences between those two words and why one is good and one is bad.
I definitely like this quote, although personally I’d change “little girl” to “child”.
Although maybe Max is the outlier, maybe it really is *mostly* an issue with girls. Most boys at the ages this refers to might be too busy hitting people to worry about bossing them around… :)
