Our 4 kids have been in 8 schools over the past 2 years. Some private, some public. Two interesting differences? Phone numbers and single parents. In public schools parents list their cell phones in the parent directory… and by 2nd grade the parents of 10 out of 20 (50%)kids in Max’s class were separated. In Charlie and Ian’s private school most people list landlines in the school directory and there are only 5 out of 36 separated parents (14%). Money can’t buy happiness, but it seems to be able to buy land lines, marriages, and private schools… :)
